Transcend Signs MoU to Become a Co-Investment Partner
to CUHK Innovation Limited

Transcend’s second fund, Transcend Capital Partners II L.P. (TCP II), has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CUHK Innovation Limited to become one of the eight new co-investment partners of CUHK Innovation Limited. CUHK Innovation Limited, recently established by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), aims to provide early-stage funding to promising CUHK spin-offs and start-ups. By joining forces with seasoned venture capitalists and investors, this joint-investment platform will foster growth and drive innovation in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

 

CUHK officially announced the establishment of CUHK Innovation Limited and held a kick-off ceremony on CUHK Innovation Day. The CUHK Innovation platform is dedicated to providing early-stage funding to promising CUHK start-ups, accelerating their growth and success. Transcend Capital Partners General Partner, Jeff Ng, was invited to the kick-off ceremony. Together with seven other Venture Capitals, including Fresco Capital, Gravity Capital Partners, Hong Kong AI & Data Laboratory, NDN Ventures, ParticleX, Tiger Jade Pebble Accelerator, and Watten Investments, Transcend Capital Partners signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to join the platform as co-investment partners.
